The Role

You’ll lead the delivery of civil infrastructure projects, working across both design and construction phases. This role is for an RPEQ-qualified Civil Engineer with solid subdivision experience and a strong technical design background. You’ll coordinate inputs, manage delivery, and step into a superintendent role during construction, staying close to the work and the people building it.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of civil infrastructure works
  • Coordinate design and construction activities across roads, stormwater, sewer, water reticulation, and associated structures
  • Oversee contractors and site activities, providing clear direction and resolving issues as they arise
  • Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documentation, ensuring alignment with design intent
  • Apply RPEQ judgement to technical reviews, design queries, and construction-stage decisions
  • Support cost control, forecasting, procurement, and variation assessment
  • Monitor program, quality, and safety performance across active projects
  • Undertake site inspections and oversee quality assurance and compliance processes
  • Act as a key point of contact between clients, contractors, authorities, consultants, and internal teams
  • Manage reporting, progress tracking, and project documentation

About You

  • RPEQ Civil Engineer
  • 5–10 years’ experience in civil infrastructure delivery
  • Proven subdivision experience and understanding of civil construction methodology and sequencing
  • Strong civil technical design capability a bonus
  • Commercial acumen, with highly developed problem-solving and coordination skills
  • Clear communication and stakeholder management skills as you will be client and local authority facing
