Structural Engineering with Covey
Covey’s team of structural engineers collaborate with architects, clients and builders to design robust and economic solutions for projects of all types and sizes. We have delivered high-rise residential and commercial buildings, agricultural and industrial structures, bridges, educational and sportING facilities, and wharf and marine structures. We continually seek the best balance of form, function, sustainability, constructability, schedule and budget.
We provide engineering design documentation, investigation, construction phase, project management and analysis services for clients across Australia, Papua New Guinea and Saudi Arabia.
We constantly challenge ourselves to find new ways to design and deliver projects faster, more efficiently and more cost-effectively than ever before. Our structural team has design experience in reinforced concrete, post tensioned and precast concrete tilt panels, ultrafloor, CSR hume deck), concrete wall systems ( Ritek, AFS, Dincell), lightweight and structural steel structures, timber structures, masonry structures, timber, steel and concrete piling. Covey Associates are also currently investigating CLT and mass timber medium rise structures.
We have expertise in new generation Building Information Modelling (BIM) using the REVIT structure platform. BIM helps streamline design, offering structure visualisation before construction. Coupled with the latest 3D analytical and design software, this documentation philosophy ensures every detail is considered, leading to efficient and effective designs, irrespective of complexity.
Our highly-skilled professionals combine experience with sophisticated technological tools to enhance the creative process, promote effective collaboration, improve coordination and enhance visualisation and communication throughout planning, design and construction.
